Who we are
The Holocaust and Genocide Research Partnership is the UK’s foremost research body into the history of the Holocaust and genocide.
To re–frame public engagement, education, and heritage practice about the history and memory of the Holocaust and genocide.
Help support the research and outreach activities of the HGRP, so that we can continue bridging the gap between academic research into, and public knowledge of, the Holocaust and other genocides.
The Wiener Holocaust Library
The Wiener Holocaust Library is one of the world’s leading and most extensive archives on the Holocaust and Nazi era. Formed in 1933, the Library’s unique collection of over one million items includes published and unpublished works, press cuttings, photographs and eyewitness testimony.
Holocaust Research Institute
The Holocaust Research Institute at Royal Holloway, University of London is one of the leading academic centres of its kind in Europe. The Institute’s mission is to promote research into the Holocaust, its origins and aftermath, and to examine the extent to which genocide, war and dictatorship can be understood as defining elements in the history of the twentieth century.
Anthony Landes is Chair of The Wiener Holocaust Library and someone who has close family connections to the Holocaust.
Professor Barry Langford is Professor of Film Studies and Head of the Department of Media Arts at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Dr Christine Schmidt is Deputy Director and Head of Research at The Wiener Holocaust Library, London.
Professor Dan Stone is Professor of Modern History and Director of the Holocaust Research Institute at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Dr Paris Papamichos Chronakis is Lecturer in Modern Greek History at Royal Holloway, University of London.

Dr Pedro Correa Martín-Arroyo is currently a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow at the Holocaust Research Institute, Royal Holloway, University of London.
Dr Rebecca Jinks is Lecturer in Modern History at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Professor Robert Eaglestone is Professor of Contemporary Literature and Thought at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Dr Simone Gigliotti is Senior Lecturer in Holocaust Studies and Deputy Director of the Holocaust Research Institute at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Dr Toby Simpson is Director of The Wiener Holocaust Library, the world’s oldest archival and library collection relating to the Holocaust and Nazi era.
